About Us
Renovated during the Covid-19 pandemic the studio has been designed with social distancing measures in mind. Plenty of space both inside and out, and lots of free parking too. Each table is separated from the next and all tables are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between bookings.
Why not come along and spend a couple of hours relaxing and painting one of our many pieces of pottery. You can paint plates, bowls, mugs or jugs, trinket boxes, ornaments or plant pots, the range is huge! A range of teas, coffees, cold drinks & cakes/biscuits are available to purchase at our studio, so why not come along with your friends and have a coffee, paint and catchup. Once you have finished painting leave the items with us for about a week and we will glaze them and fire them in our kiln.
Lynda Lamin
After being made redundant from her IT job at the beginning of 2020, Lynda decided to take some time out to decide what to do next. Then the pandemic hit and the country went into lockdown, which gave Lynda even more time to decide. Lynda had previously setup and run a pottery painting café in Sleaford, Lincolnshire many years ago which she thoroughly enjoyed, but with a young family at the time it was tough to split her time between family and the pottery café.
Now her family have grown up, she thought that opening something similar near Bingham, Nottinghamshire would give the local community somewhere to come, relax and paint in a safe and secure environment, and give Lynda back something that she loved running all those years ago.
There are twelve tables in the studio some with partitions between them, and all with plenty of space around them to ensure social distancing. There is a huge outside patio area overlooking the glorious countryside with a number of outdoor seating pods. Everything is on one level making it easy for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There is plenty of FREE car parking too.
